Nice find, I have taken a break from shadow of erdtree for the time being. Will look into quantum break's screen tearing. The default Sync mode uses DWM sync, if you're still observing tearing, try setting it to vsync.

Max frame latency value 1 or 2 works fine on ally, use 3 or higher if you want the game's fps to be higher than the display's max refresh rate for some reason.

Turn of Vsync and VRR, set max frame latency to 1, use in game FPS lock instead of external and use WGC instead of DXGI ( if using locked FPS ). Alternatively, you can also enable Nvidia reflex through RTSS and AMD's anti lag in driver software.

Lsfg doesn't rely on game data like motion vectors , it uses machine learning to predict the frames. This method isn't perfect and often results in this problem that you mentioned even when the game is running at 60 fps . Hopefully the developer will be able to fix this.

Yes steam deck supports gyro but it's a very uncomfortable experience due to its weight.

Frame generation related artifacts become more visible when the base fps is on the lower side. Lowering the settings may help, I've already shown the settings that i used.

Dlss enabler uses nukem9's dlssg to fsr 3 mod to enable fsr frame generation in games that already supports dlss frame generation. Lukefz's mod can inject fsr frame generation into games that support fsr upscaler even without dlss frame generation.
